Soft. Steamed. Worth the Bite.

At Red Bao, we believe great food should be simple: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and recipes worth sharing.

Founded by Alicia Long, a first-generation immigrant from Southern China, Red Bao was born from a love of the foods she grew up eating and the memories made around the family table. In Southern China, bao isn't just food—it's comfort, tradition, and a way of bringing people together. From busy street vendors to family breakfasts, freshly steamed bao has been a part of everyday life for generations.

Our recipes are rooted in family traditions passed down through generations. From our handcrafted bao to Grandpa's Chili Crunch, every item is made with the same philosophy: keep it authentic, keep it delicious, and make every bite memorable.

Today, Red Bao combines old-world recipes with a modern, on-the-go experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch, sharing a box with friends, or discovering bao for the first time, we're here to make Chinese street food approachable, craveable, and fun.

Our Mission

To bring the joy of bao to every neighborhood—one soft, fluffy, flavor-packed bite at a time.
